Supporting Local
We believe that by making small yet meaningful changes in people’s lives, you can make a measurable difference in a community just by supporting your local farmers and small businesses.
We saw a local food void in our community so we volunteered and established several local farmers’ markets in the area. We wanted to foster community relationships, preserve local farms and provide farmers a place to distribute their foods. We also wanted to raise awareness of buying from small farmers and small business owners, and spread knowledge about eating healthy and using clean products to help others establish a healthier lifestyle.
Through this networking, we have encouraged several business partnerships and relationships to develop and prosper.
Humanitarian Support in the USA
There is a great need in our country to contribute to humanitarian efforts. An organization located right here in North Carolina is Samaritan’s Purse. One of their projects is Operation Christmas Child which runs throughout the year giving gift boxes to children around the world.
Samaritan’s Purse organization also provides disaster relief to areas in our country hit by devastating hardships. Examples of their aid have included: Western NC Hurricane relief, Midwest tornado storm relief, California wildfire relief, Florida hurricane relief, and hundreds more. We believe in giving back to help people get back to a healthy life after a major trial. Samaritan’s Purse has set up an organization that can help us help others during their time of need. International Support
Over 20 years ago we were blessed with the opportunity to work with an amazing non-profit from Tema, Ghana, to help them with outreach. We had no idea at the time that years later they would be a key partner in our business today.
The ministries they do in Ghana have a profound impact on the people outside the major cities to save and enrich lives. Meaningful Life International provides a variety of humanitarian efforts to the people of Ghana including providing medical supplies, training “bush” women in birthing procedures, access to a hospital, and providing fresh water. They also provide biblical teaching materials to those who seek the word of Christ. Learn more.
Supporting Missions
We support local and foreign missions through both our time and business resources. We started a local ministry called ‘Care4Confined’ in which we give care and food to those in wheelchairs or confined to walkers or chairs, aged upwards in their senior years. And CHILD Ministries, which helps families of special needs children and adults with medical, financial, or respite needs.
Ministries we support include: the Billy Graham Association, North Carolina, Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child, Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Relief, The Voice of the Martyrs; Gospel for Asia, C.H.I.L.D. of North Carolina, Meaningful Life International, Ghana.
